Hello! My name is Fiona and I’m kind of a big deal, to some. Well, to me. I’m a big deal to me. Actually, I’m a pretty small deal who once had dreams of being a big deal, but age and life have taught me the big deal I thought I was looking for was superficial and had no depth to it.
I was born in Woodstock, Ontario a very long time ago and lived there until a little shy of my 16th birthday. We moved to Kentucky in 1986 and with the exception of two and a half years in Virginia for college, I’ve spent my adult life in Kentucky. I don’t get out much.
- My favorite color is navy blue (and chartreuse)
- I prefer crunchy peanut butter over creamy
- Growing up, I wanted to be everything from a plumber to a baseball player to a surgeon to an actor to a writer. I settled on being a corporate communications specialist. That worked for 25 years until I was displaced from my full-time management job, February 2023. I’m now a part-time administrative assistant. (If you want to know how I really feel about that, I have a word or two.)
- I like to build LEGO sets; paint; take pants-off naps; watch TV; write really bad haiku and laugh at them; and I do a lot of daydreaming.
Feel free to drop me a line if you have any questions or want to know anything else.
